Sunday School 2017

After a summer vacation highlighted by our exciting visit to Rome and the underground church during VBS in July, the children and teens of St. Alban's will begin a new Sunday School year on September 10th.

We are excited to offer a unique animated curriculum to our elementary class.  "What's In the Bible?  With Buck Denver" explores the entire Bible in one year, thus making it an excellent follow-up to last year's Route 66 program.  The lessons, featuring a clever animated cast, are designed for a one-room Sunday School for children from first to sixth grades.  The lessons are fun-filled and entertaining with a depth of factual information and spiritual guidance that are rare - but necessary - in meeting the needs of a multi-age group.

Curriculum materials for the Teen Class will cover the Old Testament, Proverbs and Psalms, the Life of Christ, and the New Testament Epistles, using the acclaimed Teen Talk series which explores practical ways that teens can put their faith - grounded in solid Biblical teachings - into action.

Sunday School Service Projects:

Upcoming service projects will feature the collection of pet food for local animal shelters (in honor of St. Francis of Assisi) in October and the donation of postage stamps and stationery for veterans at the Fisher House for Veteran's Day in November.

Praying that God will bless our Sunday School this year.

Blessings and thanks to everyone who supports the work of our Sunday School!
